Two Lovely Comments - thank you
Hello fellow Bloggers!
I am so excited that I have received a few nice comments which tells me there are people out there who have checked my Blog. Yeahh.
I know I check my fav blogs every couple of days and love to see how talented you all are making stuff for your family and home.
My animals keep me very busy but I do love to sew when I get the chance and have just customised a pair of jeans with a Cath Kidston teatowel - yes that's right a teatowel!
And a lovely tweed Barbour shooting jacket which was a mans but is now mine! - it wasn't the right shape for a bum and hips so I have added some vents to it and a half belt to the back.
Pics asap..............I have to borrow the digital camera from work - he he

The Farmhouse and the Ghost
Folly Cottage is a Victorian villa but my partner's house is soo lovely I thought I would share a pic with you.
I live here most of the time as this is where all our equines live in the stables and field at the bottom of the garden.
The farmhouse is 17th century Grade II listed and yes, three of us have seen it's ghost! A tall dark figure, we presume to be a man, who simply stands in the corner of two of the bedrooms. The bedrooms were linked by a door years ago and it's as if the figure stands in the now blocked up doorway.

The Frame !
And here's the lovely picture frame I found at the Flea Fair which I have used and saved £pounds£ on, instead of having it done at a gallery.
The oil painting was done in December and is of my retired horse Oliver, aged 27 this year, bless him.
The horse head painting is of my other horse, but he's still on his tip toes and is ridden - he's 19 years young and called Willow. This is also framed with an old rescued frame which I found in a junk shop about 20 years ago.
How I love these two boys.

Malvern Flea Fair
If you have never been, then give it a try. It is held at the Three Counties Showground in Malvern, Worcestershire.
Lots of lovely shabby chic vintage treasure!
This time I found a lovely country farmhouse style chair,an open fronted set of shelves,an oil painting - which I actually bought to frame an oil painting of my retired horse - I also found some little bits and pieces, namely, a duo heart picture frame, two vintage wooden darning mushrooms,a child's 1950's shopping basket,a lovely old set of two packs of playing cards with old roses as decorations and finally, a lovely vintage 1950's girls annual in immaculate condition.
